About Marci Von Lenzner Plopper
Biographical Information
- Currently qualifying to ride with the 2010 Portuguese World Equestrian Games Team
- Fall 2005 - Trained with Juan Matute, Spanish Olympic Dressage Team Coach
- December 2005 - Trained with Kyra Kyrkland in conjunction with the Portuguese National Dressage Team
- 2004/05 - Rider and clinician for Fazenda Interagro Itapira, Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Member Mexican National Equestrian Team - Adobe Guadalupe Dressage
- Presently riding in Portugal with Jorge Sousa
- Assistant trainer for Stephen Jesse, Escondido, California
- 2001 Reserve Freestyle Champion with Thor at Le Grand Cheval, Paris, France
- 2003 Freestyle Champion, The Dressage Affair, San Diego, California
- Marci was an early student of the now deceased Bengt Lundquist of Sweden, and was privileged to clinic on Thor with Reiner Klimke in Los Angeles, California
- She presently competes with Thor, upper level Dutch Warmblood gelding, Camille, lower level Dutch Warmblood mare and Uracum, a young Lusitano gelding, who has just begun to compete in Europe.
- When Marci is in the U.S. she works with riders in Southern California, Arizona, and Baja, California. In Portugal she rides for Dressage Companhia and Jorge Sousa.
